Intro
It matters what stories we tell to tell other stories with ~ Donna HarrawayWords are my work. They are the tools we use to construct the society we live in, the stories we tell, and the laws that hold us to account.
About me
I am a post-doctoral early career researcher at UTS, working on a 3-year project funded by Dementia Australia Research Foundation that aims to promote voices of people with dementia in aged care systems. Looking ahead, I am interested in connections between gendered experiences of dementia and ecologies of reciprocal care.
Building on my PhD (Law), I am growing a portfolio career at the intersection of law, ageing, and social justice that combines my qualifications in law (LLB), biomedical science (BSc) and writing (MWEP).
I (mostly) write academic articles, and dream (one day) to publish a coffee-table book about dementia stories. I am also a practicing lawyer.
Here is where my research, writing and community building come together.
